Build it the simple way

Hey Reader,

Your first digital product doesn’t need a funnel, automations, or a 47-step launch plan.

You just need a solid product and a simple way to deliver it.

Here’s how to build it without overbuilding:

Pick the simplest format

Choose what’s easiest for you to create and easiest for them to use.

  • PDF? Great.
  • Google Doc? Perfect.
  • Loom video? Go for it.
  • Notion template? Cool.

Don’t overcomplicate this. Your goal is to help them solve a problem—not impress them with your tech skills.

Use tools you already know

Now is not the time to sign up for 3 new platforms. Use what you’ve got. You can always upgrade later.

You can:

  • Sell with a Stripe payment link
  • Deliver with a Google Drive folder
  • Track purchases with a spreadsheet

Low-tech can still mean high-impact.

Finish it fast

Set a timer and ship it.

Give yourself one week (or one weekend) to go from idea to done.

Done is better than perfect.

Most people get stuck here.

They spend months building, tweaking, and never launch.

You don’t need perfect. You just need the first version.

Build it simple. Build it fast. Get it out there.

Hit reply and let me know: What tool or format are you thinking of using?

I appreciate you.

Hey Reader, Marketing is getting quieter. We're already in the shift, but it's going to continue shifting away from "hype" and pressure-selling and persuading people to buy. Whether sales gurus like it or not, it's happening. People are tired. We're ALL tired. Your potential customers, specifically, are tired of countdown timers, "last chance" emails that come every week, and feeling forced into purchasing decisions before they're fully ready to buy. People don't want to be tricked, duper,...

Hey Reader, Here’s something interesting I came across recently:People value things more the moment they feel like they own them. This isn’t just marketing fluff. It’s a psychology principle (it’s called the “Endowment Effect”) that can actually help you make your offers and lead magnets feel more valuable, even before someone pays for them. Here’s what it means for your business: If your audience feels your free resource is already theirs, they’ll treat it differently. If your paid offer...
