Happy New Year! Let's Keep Learning & Growing in 2026.

Hey friend,

We made it!

Not just to a new year, but through another year of building, experimenting, winning, losing, learning, and creating together.

And whether 2025 felt like momentum or maintenance, big wins or slow steps, I want to take a moment to celebrate what you’ve done.

Because the truth is, most people never even start. But you did.

You’re building something that matters. And that’s worth raising a glass to. 🥂

As we step into 2026, I want to let you in on where we’re heading and how I plan to support you more than ever this year.

Here’s what’s coming:

🧠 The EDUpreneur Newsletter: Yep, we’re renaming this newsletter to better reflect you and your journey. Don't worry, nothing else is changing. Just the name. You can continue to expect more content on audience-building, launching products, building systems, and staying sane while doing it. (More on the name change coming soon)

🌱 A focus on the EDUpreneur Community: The resources, courses, and community events will keep expanding in 2026, with new opportunities to connect, collaborate, get coached, and grow alongside others walking the same path. (Join with a 30-day free trial here)

🎨 A fresh new look for the EDUpreneur Community: We're not just focused on growing the community and packing it full of value for you. We’re also giving it a full facelift in 2026. New logo, new colors, new vibe....same mission. This is about showing up with the same clarity and confidence we want for your business, and providing the resources, support, and accountability you need to make it happen. We're just going to look a little better while doing it. 😎

📈 Resources, ideas, and guidance to help you grow your business smarter: From SEO to AI, lead magnets to sales, email marketing to efficient operations, in 2026 you and I will be breaking it all down in small, doable steps...together.

📚 A new Teach Better Academy: On the other side of my life, our team at Teach Better is working on relaunching the Teach Better Academy with a whole new, community-driven experience for K-12 educators who want to grow professionally and be better for kids. A new platform, new courses, and a new focus for 2026. I'll be sharing some of our journey, what we get right, and what we learn along the way.

Thankful for you!

Whether you’ve been with me on this journey for a day or a decade, I’m grateful you’re here. I do not take for granted that you spend some of your precious time reading these emails. And whether you read them all, one every now and then, or this is the first you've ever opened, it means the world to me, and I appreciate you.

My goal this year is simple:

To help more EDUpreneurs (like you) grow with clarity, confidence, and momentum.

No burnout. No BS. Just steady, strategic growth.

So celebrate everything you've accomplished these past 12 months, and let’s make 2026 your most aligned year yet, with better systems, bigger wins, and more happiness.

I appreciate you.

~ Jeff

Hey Reader, Your first digital product doesn’t need a funnel, automations, or a 47-step launch plan. You just need a solid product and a simple way to deliver it. Here’s how to build it without overbuilding: Pick the simplest format Choose what’s easiest for you to create and easiest for them to use. PDF? Great. Google Doc? Perfect. Loom video? Go for it. Notion template? Cool. Don’t overcomplicate this. Your goal is to help them solve a problem—not impress them with your tech skills. Use...

Hey Reader, In our EDUpreneur Mastermind last week, we chatted a bit about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) in today’s world, with AI continuing to take over. So I wanted to share an analogy that might help make this typically confusing topic make a little more sense. (we’ll see how I do) The reality is, how we’ve always approached SEO in the past doesn’t work (or at least not as well) as it used to. We need to think about it differently now. The problem is, SEO has always been confusing,...

Hey Reader, I said it before, and I’ll keep saying it: AI isn’t the future anymore. It’s just part of the environment now. “AI-powered” no longer impresses anyone. It’s expected. Everyone uses it. Every tool has it built in. Every platform integrates it. Every update mentions it. And yet, most of us feel more overwhelmed than ever. Not because we aren’t using AI. But because we’re constantly wondering if we’re using the right AI. Here’s the reality AI tech companies don’t want to admit: Most...
