✅ SEO Changes = Content Changes

Hey Reader,

The advent of Large Language Models (LLMs) is reshaping the search engine optimization (SEO) landscape. These AI-driven models prioritize understanding user intent and delivering precise, authoritative responses, moving beyond traditional keyword matching.

To remain effective, our SEO strategies need to evolve in a few key areas.

  1. Prioritizing User Intent: LLMs focus on grasping the context and intent behind user queries, rather than relying solely on the use of keywords. Creating content that directly addresses specific questions and provides clear value is essential. This type of approach helps to improve alignment with LLMs' emphasis on relevance and user-centric responses.
  2. Ensuring Indexation and Visibility: Maintaining technical SEO best practices is crucial for content discoverability by both traditional search engines and LLMs. This includes optimizing site structure, utilizing appropriate meta tags, and ensuring mobile-friendliness. Given that LLMs source information from a wide array of sources, including social media, websites, and other online publications, a comprehensive online presence can enhance our visibility.
  3. Building Authority: While traditional SEO often emphasizes things like backlinks, LLMs assess content authority based on demonstrated expertise and credibility. Engaging in reputable forums related to your niche, contributing to reputable publications, and showcasing your knowledge can increase your content authority in the eyes of LLMs.
  4. Maintaining Fresh and Relevant Content: LLMs prioritize up-to-date and accurate information. Regularly updating content, removing redundancies, and ensuring the content you create remains current, are all important practices to help us sustain relevance and favorability within LLM-driven search results.
  5. Optimizing Content: Clear and concise content structures, such as using bullet points, tables, and well-organized headings, help LLMs better understand the content we put out. Optimizing the formatting of your content helps with effectively conveying information, which aligns with LLMs' preference for easily digestible content.

None of this is simple or easy, but working on these strategies can help us as content creators, adapt to the always evolving world of SEO.

I hope this helps

💡CONTENT CREATION IDEA

Content Idea Generator

Here’s a super simple content idea prompt I love using, especially when I’m feeling stuck:
“What do you find yourself saying on repeat?”

Seriously. It's that simple. Just think about the advice, tips, or encouragement you’re always sharing with your students, colleagues, clients, or even in your DMs.

  • What’s something you’ve explained more than once this week?
  • What do people keep thanking you for?
  • What topic comes up in nearly every coaching call, social media post comments section, or conversation with a colleague or fellow creator?

Those things you keep repeating? That’s all content.

Turn those things into things like:

  • Carousel posts with bite-sized tips.
  • A tutorial video on YouTube
  • An IG story, Reel, or YouTube short walking through it.
  • Dive deeper in your next newsletter, blog post, or even lead magnet.

Hey Reader, Did you know that more than 50% of new businesses fail within the first 5 years? It gets even worse in years 6-10. I just realized that we've had a profitable business for more than 10 years now. Has it been smooth sailing for the nearly decade we've been trying to figure this thing out? Hell no. It's been a crazy ride with more twists and turns than I could have ever expected. But, we're still here after a decade. That puts us in a category with a very small percentage of...

Hey Reader, Before I jump into what I wanted to share here, I wanted to let you know...I started a separate newsletter on Substack. I know, why, right? I actually explain why in my first post over there. Some of the content will overlap with this newsletter, but a lot of it is going to be a little more raw and unpolished over there...and will likely explore a lot more of my life and experiences inside of, outside of, and all around being an entrepreneur. Here's the link to subscribe. Ok,...
