"1,000 true fans is still great."

Hey Reader,
I saw a post today that essentially said, "1,000 true fans is still great."

It was a good sentiment. A positive one. Helping people see that they do not need millions of fans, and do not need to go viral, in order to find success.

It was a good post. I support it.

But I want you to know that 100 true fans is also great. So is 50 true fans.

Want to know a secret? 10 true fans is also great.

Where ever you’re at in your journey, focus on serving the right people the right way, right now.

Too many of us get focused on wanting to serve the millions of fans we'll get someday. The truth is, most of us won't ever have millions of fans.

But you likely have a few right now. And you'll likely have a few more sometime in the near future.

Focus on them. The ones who are here now. Serve those people

The people who believe in what you do, get value from what you create, and want to see you succeed.

Whether it’s 10, 50, 200, or 10 million...it doesn't matter. Just keep taking care of them.

You don't need to grow to 10 million, or even 1,000 to be successful.

You just need to deliver what you say you'll deliver, and help the people you started this thing to help.

Focus on that and I promise the number will grow.

But for now, stop worrying about what that number grows to, and instead worry about how you take care of whatever the number is today.

I hope this helps.

~ Jeff

I appreciate you.

Hey Reader, A few weeks ago, I told you I had gotten to the point where I was letting AI write way too much for me. So much so, that I essentially removed my thinking from the whole process. I outsourced my thoughts, my observations, my perspective...my voice. So, I think I'm hyper aware of this now, because I feel like I'm seeing it all over. I can spot an AI-written post from a mile away. That's what happened yesterday. I was checking in on Instagram and a post came through my feed that hit...

Hey Reader, For the past 20+ years, I've been starting and running businesses. I've started quite a few businesses, but I've also worked a lot of jobs as well. I’ve done a lot of things. Started a record label, managed the janitorial crew of an 18 building facility for a multi-billion dollar company, sold life and health insurance, ran fast food restaurants, helped open a bar, co-owned a concert club, managed a coffee shop, and launched an online marketing firm. I’ve had some successes, and...

Hey Reader, Do you ever feel like your day is a never-ending cycle of "busy work" that keeps you from your most important projects? Maybe you're even to the point where you think you might want to bring on a virtual assistant or some help to get some of those "busy work" tasks off your plate? This is a super common conversation I have with entrepreneurs all the time, especially inside our masterminds. The reality is, whether you're a new entrepreneur, seasoned veteran, or just launching a...
