"1,000 true fans is still great."

Hey Reader,
I saw a post today that essentially said, "1,000 true fans is still great."

It was a good sentiment. A positive one. Helping people see that they do not need millions of fans, and do not need to go viral, in order to find success.

It was a good post. I support it.

But I want you to know that 100 true fans is also great. So is 50 true fans.

Want to know a secret? 10 true fans is also great.

Where ever you’re at in your journey, focus on serving the right people the right way, right now.

Too many of us get focused on wanting to serve the millions of fans we'll get someday. The truth is, most of us won't ever have millions of fans.

But you likely have a few right now. And you'll likely have a few more sometime in the near future.

Focus on them. The ones who are here now. Serve those people

The people who believe in what you do, get value from what you create, and want to see you succeed.

Whether it’s 10, 50, 200, or 10 million...it doesn't matter. Just keep taking care of them.

You don't need to grow to 10 million, or even 1,000 to be successful.

You just need to deliver what you say you'll deliver, and help the people you started this thing to help.

Focus on that and I promise the number will grow.

But for now, stop worrying about what that number grows to, and instead worry about how you take care of whatever the number is today.

I hope this helps.

~ Jeff

I appreciate you.

Hey Reader,I heard something recently that made me shift my mindset on content creation, audience building, and how we engage with our EDUpreneur Community. For the life of me, I cannot remember where I heard this or who said it.(I think I want to give credit to the brilliant Tom Ross.) Anyway, what they said was: "Start more conversations. You do not need to teach every day." I read that and it just sort of hit me. Typically, we start creating and building because we have something of value...

Hey Reader,I want you to try something for me. It’s simple, but not easy. It's not easy because you might feel nervous, or anxious, or maybe even a little embarrassed. But if you try this…like, seriously try it…I think you’ll find some real value in it. I want you to reach out to 25 of your LinkedIn connections every week for the next for weeks. Here’s the catch: I do NOT want you to sell them anything, pitch them anything, or try to turn them into a lead. All I want you to do is offer to...

Hey Reader,I'm done letting AI write for me. Let me explain. Actually, let me confess. Over the last 6 months or so, I've used AI to write some of the words I put in my newsletters. Actually, I've used it to write a lot. I never got to the point where I had AI write all of my words, but I got pretty close. At first, I was using AI just for brainstorming and occasionally helping me refine some of my rambling text. But then I started to notice myself changing less and less of what it was...
