Selling Doesn't Need to Feel Icky

Hey Reader,

So, you’ve created your first offer. Maybe it’s a coaching call, a downloadable guide, a workshop, or a mini-course.

Now comes the part that makes most EDUpreneurs a little nervous: selling it.

If you’re like a lot of folks in this community, you’ve probably said something like:

“I’m not a salesy person.”

“I don’t want to bother people.”

“What if no one buys?”

Totally normal. I’ve been there, too.

But here’s the truth I had to learn (and maybe you do, too):

Selling is just helping people make a decision.

If your offer solves a real problem for someone, sharing it isn’t pushy, it’s actually generous.

So let me give you 3 quick ways to start selling without overthinking it.

1. Share a story

Talk about the problem your offer solves, and share a short story of how it helped you or someone else. Keep it simple and real. If you focus on the story, the selling happens more naturally.

2. Make it visible

Most new entrepreneurs tend to hide their offers like it’s a game of Where’s Waldo. Put it in your email signature, your IG bio, your website, your pinned post. Don’t make people hunt for it. You don't have to be up in their face about it, but you better make it easy to find so that when they're ready to buy...they can.

3. Invite, don’t pressure

Instead of “Buy my thing now!” try something like:

“If this sounds like something you need, I’d love to chat with you.”

Or

“This might be exactly what you need right now. If so, here’s where to learn more.”

No pressure. Just an invitation.

If you need any support building out your offer, sharing it, or turning it into something scalable, just hit reply and let me know where you’re at. I’d love to help you keep going.

Essentially, it's just a fun way of describing where we're at in our journey. The Starter SeasonYou're building from scratch. You’re...
