Let’s build your first (or next) lead magnet.

Hey Reader,

Let’s talk about lead magnets.

If you’re building an email list (and you should be), a lead magnet is one of the quickest and easiest ways to grow it.

But here’s the mistake I see all the time: People try to make it too big, too polished, too complex, or too vague.

So let’s keep it simple.

A great lead magnet is just:

  • A free resource
  • That solves a specific problem
  • For a specific kind of person

That’s it.

You don’t need a 20-page eBook or a 5-part video course. You need one quick win for your audience.

Think about the people you're trying to serve:

  • What question do they ask you (or themselves) all the time?
  • What’s something you’ve already created (or can created quickly and easily) that can help them solve, or begin solving, the problem that triggers that question?

That’s your lead magnet idea.

Some quick examples:

  • A checklist for organizing your week.
  • A script for pitching your first PD workshop.
  • A template for creating engaging classroom activities.
  • A one-pager of your favorite free tech tools.

Here’s your action step for today:

Come up with 1–3 lead magnet ideas that feel aligned with your brand and your people.

You don’t have to build it yet. We'll get to that next week. Right now, I just want you to focus on choosing a clear and helpful idea you can run with.

So...are you in?

I hope this helps.

I appreciate you.

Hey Reader, So someone downloads your lead magnet. Nice! Now what? Hey Reader, So your lead magnet is done. That's awesome. Nice work! Now let’s make sure it actually gets to people when they sign up for it.
