➡️Complimentary SWOT Analysis Worksheet Inside

Hey Reader,

Are you working on a project, piece of content, or maybe a new lead magnet, and stuck in the "it's not quite right yet" stage?

This is where you feel good about what it is you're creating, but you're not quite happy with it. You're pretty sure it's pretty good...but you're also pretty sure it could be a little better.

This is a dangerous place to get stuck in, because it can last a long time and really destroy your efficiency.

I got an email this morning from my friend, Jay. In it, he discussed what we call an MVP or Minimum Viable Product. This is the version of the product (or content) that is at least "good enough" to send out and get feedback. Your MVP is a super valuable thing. It allows you to get feedback that will help you make the final product even better than it was going to be without that feedback.

Quite interruption here: If you're not already subscribed to Jay's newsletter, you should be. Click here to subscribe.

Anyway, as I read the email - truth be told, I didn't even make it past the second paragraph before coming to write this - it smacked me in the face. I do this all the time. I create something, get it to it to a certain point, and then never (or at least more often than not) actually put it our there.

So I want to change that today. I'm going to share something with you that I created over 6 months ago, and for the last 6+ months it has just been sitting in our Canva account, with no action taken on it since.

I'd really love your feedback on it.

It is a free SWOT analysis worksheet and guide. A SWOT Analysis is an exercise meant to help you overcome challenges, identify opportunities for growth, maximize your efforts, and protect your business from potential threats. This PDF download is a simple guide and worksheet to help you assess the 4 factors and how they impact your business or side hustle.

I've found that working through a SWOT analysis is a simple, but powerful way for you to ask questions that we don't always think to ask ourselves. In my experience, it has led to some really valuable conversations and adjustments. I hope you find the same value.

I'm including a link to the worksheet below. I'd be curious to know your thoughts on it.

  • Is it something you would have given me your name and email for?
  • Is it valuable to you at all? Why or why not?
  • Is it clear on how to use it?
  • Doe it just suck?
  • What changes would make it better?

Could you do me a huge favor and hit 'reply' and let me know what you think?

Here's the link to download the SWOT Analysis Guide & Worksheet.

Thanks in advance for the feedback!

💡CONTENT CREATION IDEA

Mistakes I’ve Made (and What I Learned)

Reflect on your journey and share the mistakes you've made along the way. For each mistake, you can include a short lesson or actionable takeaway for your audience.

For example:

  • "I spent too much time perfecting my first product instead of launching early and improving based on my audience's feedback."
  • "I underestimated the importance of building an email list from the start."
  • etc.

This type of content is authentic, relatable, and educational. I think you'll find it will resonate with your audience because it shows vulnerability while also providing value. It’s also a great way for you to continue to position yourself as someone who’s learning and growing, just like your audience is.

Hey Reader, Building a side hustle or business can be rewarding, lucrative, and just plain fun. But let’s be real—doing it on your own can also feel a little lonely at times...or maybe a lot lonely.
