✅ Just make the decision.

Hey Reader,

I would be so appreciative if you could leave a 5-star rating on Spotify and/or Apple Podcasts. It helps us get more visibility for the podcast and therefore help more entrepreneurs like you. Thank you in advance!

Ok, now let's get into it...

If you’ve ever found yourself stuck in decision paralysis, obsessing over whether to take path A or path B, you’re not alone. I assure you, I have been here...A LOT.

Most entrepreneurs stress over making the “right” decision, fearing that one wrong move will derail their entire journey and end their business.

Here’s the truth: progress comes from action, not perfection.

The Myth of the “Right” Decision

We all love the idea of making the perfect choice. Should I focus on this niche or that one? Should I launch now or wait until everything is flawless? Should I price my offer this way or that way? The problem is, there’s no perfect answer—only data you haven’t gathered yet.

Decisions only seem “right” or “wrong” in hindsight. We often look at past decisions and say things like "I knew it" or "I should have known better." This is the result of hindsight bias.

Hindsight bias is when we think we should have known the right decision AFTER we know the result. It's like after our favorite NFL team chooses to pass on 4th and goal and doesn't score. Of course they should have ran the ball or kicked the field goal. BUT, if they had scored on that pass, we'd all call the coach a genius for that decision.

We judge those decisions after we know the outcome.

The reality is, you don't actually know the outcome of all the potential choices. You only know the outcome of the choice you made.

We can't go back and see what would had happened if the team kicked the field goal or chose a run play instead of the pass. Maybe the field goal would have gotten blocked. A run play may have lead to a fumble. We simply don't know. We cannot know.

The same goes for your business decisions. If a decision leads to success, that's great. We know it was a good decision. What we can't know is whether a different choice would have led to better, worse, or the same amount of success.

We can't go back in time, so there is no value in dwelling on "I should have known better" after poor results, or "what if I would have..." after decent results.

Instead, focus on what you can learn from an outcome, every outcome. If a choice does not lead to what you hoped, assess why it might not have, and take that learning with you for future decisions.

Trust Your Gut, Then Adapt

Your gut feeling exists for a reason. It’s an accumulation of your experiences, knowledge, and intuition. While it’s definitely not infallible, it’s often good enough to get you moving. And movement is everything in business.

When you take action:

✅ You gain clarity through experience - good and bad.

✅ You learn what works (and what doesn’t) more quickly.

✅ You build momentum instead of staying stuck. Action = more action.

Entrepreneurship isn’t about getting it right on the first try.

It’s about making informed guesses, testing, and adjusting based on what you learn.

Growth comes from making, and learning from, decisions.

Every successful entrepreneur has made plenty of “wrong” choices. The difference? They didn’t let indecision hold them back. They made a call, learned from the outcome, and adjusted accordingly.

If you wait for absolute certainty, you'll never move.

Instead of asking, “What if this is the wrong decision?” try reframing it as "What will I learn from this choice, no matter the outcome?"

That shift in mindset removes the fear and turns every decision into just another step along the way.

Make the Call and Move Forward

If you’re hesitating on a business decision, take this as your sign to just decide. Pick a direction, trust yourself, and remember that every step (even the wrong one) gets you closer to success.

The worst decision is no decision at all.

So, what’s one decision you’ve been overthinking? Hit 'reply' and let me know. Better yet, just make a decision and go!

I hope this helps

💡CONTENT CREATION IDEA

What Would You Tell a Friend?

A lot of us overthink content because we feel like it has to be perfectly polished or ultra-strategic.

Something I heard the other day, that I am going to try is this: Pretend you’re giving advice to a friend.

Ask yourself:

  • What’s a question someone new to my niche would ask me?
  • If a friend came to me for advice on what I do, what’s the first thing I'd tell them?
  • What’s something I wish more people understood about my industry, business, or side hustle?
  • What’s a tip, shortcut, or tool that I'd casually recommend to someone over coffee?

Turn those answers into content. Whether it’s a post on social media, an email, a video, a blog, or a podcast episode, this approach helps you create in a organic and authentic way, without the pressure of “sounding professional" or "being perfect."

The best content often feels like a conversation, so start there.
